Area Supervisor/Production Supervisor

Job function: Area & Production Supervisor
Candidate must exhibit strong leadership abilities. Determine production schedule, aware of Customer and Production requirements, and communicate with other shifts and departments. Guide, monitor and develop work team and individual performance to foster continuous improvement. Transfer skills to work teams as appropriate. Report and investigate problems or discrepancies encountered during production. Act as primary information resource for support groups. Increase reliability through continuous root cause analysis. Monitor condition and arrange for maintenance P'. Perform daily and weekly housekeeping audits. Administer scheduling and assignments for required overtime. Perform coaching, counseling and disciplinary action, as required. Follow Enzyme Policies and Procedures when applicable. Perform administrative duties for assigned shift, including monitoring attendance, vacations, and time cards. Maintain an Annual Performance Evaluation Rating of Average or better. Follow and ensure a Safe and a GMP compliant work environment.Qualifications
Must have good leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal. Must possess a Maintenance background or experience. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing background or experience a plus. Customer focused; must be flexible in dealing with others i the organization, and with work assignments/projects. Must be capable of both creative thought and deductive reasoning. Self-organized. Self-motivated; ability to work independent of supervision. Ability to lead by example.Contact Information
