Your ProfileAs a market reporter you will be a Journalist with knowledge of working across an international market sector. Experience writing on the energy markets are desirable, but other areas related to the financial markets may be considered. You must however, be able to show a keen interest in energy and be knowledgeable about the markets. Demonstrated numeracy skills would be highly beneficial. Ideally you will have a degree from a red brick university or equivalent.The RoleAs a market reporter you will be speaking with brokers and traders every day, getting price assessments and writing commentaries, in addition to writing daily stories and occasionally longer features. You will need to establish contacts and maintain strong working relationships with the major players in the commodities markets to generate information.The CompanyThis company is one of the worlds leading energy information providers. They produce business intelligence, market data and price assessments on the global oil, gas, coal industries to name but a few.
