Job function: Health Education Coordinator
The successful candidate provides a comprehensive curriculum of health education programs to members and other customers. Acts as a liaison with internal departments, participating integrated delivery systems and community resources to implement educational programs.
Job Requirements:
- Assess health education needs. Develops and implements a curriculum to address those needs.
- Identifies resources for health education programs. Arranges classes for membership, publicizes and promotes health education offerings and monitors/oversees those classes to ensure they meet standards and expectations.
- Develops and implements course payment process. Periodically audits to ensure that payments are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develops and implements health education database and reporting system.
- Develops, implements and monitors health education budget and other resources needs.
- Facilitates health education activities for health promotion, quality improvement, accreditation and related functions.
- Coordinates health education activities with external partners’ education programs to maximize effectiveness of both.
- Works with related departments to develop and implement their health education programs with them.
- Assists in community relations program.
