Marketing Manager needed at NetFormx, San Francisco, CA.

Profile:
• Outbound marketing activities for all Netformx products
• Define the messaging and positioning for Netformx products
• Drive demand by developing innovative marketing programs
• Work with product management to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages
• Ability to grasp and translate technical product capabilities into customer benefits
• Understand the “buyer”: how they buy, buying criteria
• Create sales tools that will assist to transfer product and market knowledge to the sales team
• Tradeshow management
Key Responsibilities
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Netformx software platform in the Enterprise Networking and Service Providers market
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team
• Marketing Communication: Develop and execute a variety of internal and external communication tactics and sales tools including but not limited to: white papers, customer case studies, web content, sales presentations, demo scripts, demo movies and product literature.
• Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
• Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products (including cooperation w/ Cisco programs)
• Execute joint marketing programs with business and channel partners
Aptitudes

• 5+ years’ of software product marketing experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a field facing similar role required
• Experience in marketing in the enterprise networking and/or telecommunication for enterprises space
• Bachelor’s degree in technology required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills a must
• Willing to travel 5%-10% (trade shows, visit customers)
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
