The purpose of the team is to provide accounting, reporting, analysis and collections for limited partnership investments, including hedge funds. This position will review the investment’s financial statements for accounting trends, play an oversight role in the portfolio monitoring process for these assets, and participate in the preparation and review of our investment results. This position will interface with the Asset Class customers and participate and lead in special projects as necessary.
Position Responsibilities:

1. Build and implement a process for financial statement reviews to audit the completeness of financial data. Reviewing adjustments to record proper and accurate income recognition on the investments. 2. Participating in the department’s oversight function of the quarterly portfolio monitoring process for limited partnership investments. 3. Performing accounting due diligence reviews, which may include site visits, with a focus on assessing proper internal controls and accounting and valuation practices. 4. Reviewing and/or preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual limited partnership investment reports and footnotes to meet GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements. 5. Participating in and coordinating/leading special projects including accounting research.

Qualification
Experience Required:

* 6-10 years of professional accounting experience and 3-5 years experience directly related to investment accounting. * Experience managing staff, either directly or indirectly.
